Thanks for the encouragement, guys. So far I can only play the first chord of WTLF and I don't even think my left hand is positioned right. But it sounds good!:P

Even so, a barred G chord doesn't use the middle finger to bar. :)
The first chord of WTLF is an open G chord anyway. :)

G (3) ...............0 - none
B (2) ................2 - the finger where you put a wedding ring
E (1) ................2 - the small finger on this

actually on the B(2) and E(1) strings you'd press on the 3rd fret, not the second fret....
