British Marines play soccer with Iraqi

In Basra, the British Marines played soccer against a civilians team lined-up only for Iraqis (sp?).

According to the journalists who eyewitnessed the game, it was a rough game, but without any kind of violence and everybody seemed to have fun, specially the local team, who defeated the British troop for 9x3. :)

The British and Germans also played a friendly game of football during World War 1, also during Christmas they shared food and had an unofficial peace treaty.

Trust the Brits to get beaten by some Iraqi civilians...
