Ok, life is good: Phillies win, Cubs win, Braves and Mets lose. :D:D:D. Unfortunately, the Red Sox lost (my team) :(...

But Jim Thome (who plays for my adopted team) goes 3-4 in his Phillies debut and drives in the first run of the game in his first at-bat, a double that just missed being a homer by a few feet!...Have I mentioned that I LOVE Jim Thome????

oh... :(

well, they had their chance and they blew it... when they played, maybe Iīm wrong, the world series against Marines a few years ago...

hahahaha I bring bad luck to every team I support! :embarass: they always lose in the finals! Jazz, Indians... well, Dolphins never reach the finals anyway! hehehehe

LOL, Marcos, then don't root for any of my teams ;)...before you were born the Dolphins won two Super Bowls. In one of those seasons (before the current 16-game season) they went a perfect 16-0. That's when the season was 12 or 14 games long or something. It was in the early 70s! They did make it in Dan Marino's rookie year or second year, but alas, they lost.

Well, too bad I couldn't be "sick" this year like I was last year from school to watch the season opener. It could've been alot better because my Braves lost. But there is a bright side because there are only 160+ games left in the season, and lots of time for my Bravos to turn today's outcomes around and win lots of ballgames!!!:dancing:

LOL, benkenobi, that's how I feel about my Red Sox. Pedro pitched great but the dang bullpen gagged and gave up FIVE runs in the ninth :(.

wow! thatīs cool, I didnīt know that!

But I knew Dan Marino! I liked him better than Joe Montana, but...

Cubs won! YAY! Can't wait to see a game this year.

Yeah, farmgirl, even though I'm a die-hard Red Sox fan, I have a special place in my heart for the Cubs and their fans, as they have suffered even longer than Sox fans since winning the World Series. Plus, they beat the Mets....Can't stand those NY teams...Sorry to any NY fans :D.
