A couple of my choices aren't favorite bands "ever" or anything, just what I've been listening to a lot of.

Classic rock bands are left off my list for a reason. I think it's patently unfair to compare that genre to the modern stuff, because those guys invented what people today are doing. It's not fair to either group, in my opinion, but that's just me. By the way, the two classic rock bands I listen to the most are, surprise, surprise, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

I KNOW!!! I've been counting the days, have it marked down on my calendar at work!! sending my daughter to the store Tuesday when she gets out of school for lunch to get that and the Creed single w/poster!!! Same here. They are coming for some MTV thing in Philly but it's Nov. 2 and I have to work:crying: :crying: And it only costs $2!!! I'm so bummed.

She's the best!!! Actually, I think she has trained me in the art of new rock & roll (for that, I thank her much) I was like stuck in the 60's - 70's classic rock (I do love it though) and was getting kinda burned out on it..needed something new and of course, for me, it has to me R&R!!!
