I want new Pantera!!!

What's holding up the band? Vince and Dime both want to do Pantera. Don't get me wrong, SJR and Down are awesome but phil needs to get back to the band that made him who he is today. :mad:

Last month's (I think it was last month's) Guitar World had a big interview with Dimebag and Zakk Wylde and in it, Dimebag issued a statement of sorts saying he has tried to contact Phil Anselmo about getting back together, but that Phil A has not responded. He basically said it didn't look good for a reunion anytime soon.

Yes, they are dead.

I've never really found anything interesting or intriguing about Pantera. I think their cult following would like to believe that because they play small venues and don't make music videos, they're some kind of artistic godhead. Quite the contrary. Dimebag was a genius on the stick, but other than that, they won't be missed, aside from the 32 regular fans they had.
