I wrote this poem awhile ago and thought you guys might like it, tell me what ya think



Just one

The hole I fell through I knew was there
But the blindness told me I shouldn’t care
It told me I would see it and I shouldn’t fear
That if I was patient I would not draw near
But know I fall, just one
The farther I fall the darkness takes my sun
If I had ground to stand on I would take my faults and run
You told me lights were out there but I see none
But they saw me, they saw me and cast me into this darkness
They have there reasons but there reasons are heartless
If I could step onto your higher ground
I would take your love and turn it around
I would take it and send it to a place where there’s no life or sound
Where I have dwelt far from where I can be found
But although Im falling I still cant see the last
So maybe a light will rescue me and take me with it so I can rest
