Linkin Park's new album....

the new LP album is called Meteora and will be realeased at the end of March.I'm curious what it would sound like....and will there be something new in the lyrics and the music..

Really? A new album so soon after Reanimation?? Wow. I wonder what it will sound like, too. I hope there are more songs like "Pushing Me Away", not to mention a couple like "With You". Love those songs!

Pop Will Eat Itself's "Dos Dedos Mis Amigos" had very similar sound (but better) in mid 90ies.

You're right, Reanimation wasn't that great only one song. Meteora sounds like it is going to be better that Hybrid Theory.

Reanimation is just another [Hybrid Theory]. As if their first album wasn't bad enough...they redo the songs and sell it again...

i have to agree that there new stuff sounds almost the same. me and my friend just got tickets for the linkin park, metallica concert. i cant wait to see metallica, but i saw linkin park and they were ok...im just going to make her happy cause she's an LP freak, and i havent seen metallica in a long time.

well I listened to Hybrid Theory for the first time in like 6 months and the only songs I still like are "Pushing Me Away" and "Crawling" maybe "Papercut". I don't like the ones were Mike Shinoda does most of the singer or rapping I should say.

So I might get the cd if it's not totally hip hop. :throwup:

It kicks total ass. Meteora was more than worth the wait. It's excellent. And yes, it does have the feel of rock album more so than the feel of rap-rock album. It's awesome!:bounce:

i can't wait to get it myself... i loved Hybrid Theory, it's the type of sound i like, it was so cool. but i didn't bother with the second one cos i knew it was basically just remixes - i guess that was just for the diehard fans, and people who like remixes and stuff. what i don't get is people who knock them... :rolleyes: i mean not every single band in the world can have their own completely unique sound - that's why there's genres, because in the end (excuse the pun) every band fits into some sort of genre. Does that mean their all copying each other? LP are just havin fun making music. :)
