Do you know that German band Guano Apes???They are one of my favourites!Has any1 heard "Lords of the boards","Open youe eyes" or their new song "You can't stop me"?They rock!

they are rock/hard rock..check out some of their songs,they have some really great stuff.Sandra Nasik (vocals) features Apocalyptica in "Path".But I guess you haven't heard of it too.

i really like them, because they are from my neighbour country(i'm from austria and they are from germany) and they sound like an american rock band. i like the songs you mentioned, but you have forgotten "no speech". that song really rocks.
