Id like to hear your interpretations of this . I will give you mine at the end so dont let that influence what you get out of it.
an old sunken sanctuary
that is me
desecrated and abandonned
so empty
how do i fit in your perfect plan
assymetrical I am
full of frayed edges
some unseen
others you cut away at
take the knife to me again
bleed me of whats tainted
thoughts to run red
may they never come back again
your not gone
but your not here
like a bride on a wedding day
that has fled
looking through the window
waiting for the right time
to tear down these walls
and rebuild sublime

its about God allowing us to distance ourselves from him and at times how he works in the shadows making us think he has left but he is just building up our faith not gone but in a way not there.
