The following message was found from a fan named Michael from Germany on alterbridgeband.net. Lots of cool stuff there in regards to their recent tours!

His message:

alright people....as some of ou might have read, at last nights show in Essen,Germany we got a special treat from our man Myles when he was perfoming a tribute to Jeff Buckly - a song called "Halleluja". We could tell that this was pure emotion to myles and he gave this 1000 times back to us fans. He had tears in his eyes and was shaking. as u will hear the complete crowd was suddenly quiet when he started playin it cause we all were touched. Since this was one of the coolest things i have seen the guys do, i want to share it will all of you. It goes out to all the Fans of the greatest band in the world and special thanks again to Mark, Myles, Brian, Flip and Michael for the best day/night in my life so far - you all rock so much and we appreciate it more than u will ever know !

Enough talk...listen to it now people. The quality isnt that good cause i chose to stand front row instead of taping but for that i think the quality is pretty descent ! I hope u all enjoy and feel free to share it with every AB fan around the world. If u put it up for download somewhere else, it would be nice to give credits to me, but you definatly SHOULD get credits to Myles, because he is just such an amazing singer and person !
Enjoy all,

Michael

no, it was supposed to be Myles all alone. The guys took a break and Myles wanted to try something different. Just like when Mark plays the solo before DTML.

alright...pardon me..... i am going slightly off-topic.....but before hearing this....i never wondered what does "Hallelujah" means.....also...... as i see it..... the lyrics also can take many meanings.....some are obvious references to religious and other histories......some references to DAvid....... one to the story of Samsun and deliyla i belive........i am not sure abut the verse starting with "baby ive been here before....." , it song takes different meanings when i go on trying to interpret it.....may be its about the true love of God ...that how man loses it.....falls in love with someone on earth......and then when most of it is kinda distroyed (cant come up with right word) with all its sexual influence.....u get to feel the force of true love of God...... cant say for sure....... i also couldnt find any discreet meaning of the word Hallelujah, many places it told to be meaning "praise of God" .......... but anyways.....song is good......gives a good feeling...........

here are the lyrics

I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
but you don't really care for music do ya
Well it goes like this the fourth the fifth
the minor fall and the major lift
the baffled king composing hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
you saw her bathing on the roof
her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
she tied you to a kitchen chair
she broke your throne and she cut your hair
and from your lips she drew the hallelujah.

Hallelujah,hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor
You know, I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Hallelujah,hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Well there was a time when you let me know
what's really going on below
but now you never show that to me do ya
but remember when I moved in you
and the Holy dove was moving too
and every breath we drew was hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Well maybe there's a God above
but all I've ever learned from love
was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
it's not somebody who's seen the light
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Yeah, it's cool somebody bootleged it. Although I still think Rufus Wainwright's version is the best.
