Bitch Slap...Who Lotta Rosie...Buried Alive...Come To Life??? Which ones are covers and which ones are new? only the latter two sound like decent titles and alter bridge titles...

:D I think that's the song with the line 'I am not your messiah and I will not take you higher'. Not only have they matured but moved on too!!

By the sound of it, Stapp should recieve royalties from this album.

 i mean really....i get it all that they r not creed and they r trying to say it but to put this in their and especially that way is rediculus.

Wow, Bitch slap? Interesting. That only fuels my anticipation for this next album flair up like shooting a California forest fire with a supersoaker full of carosine.

I am not your messiah and I won't take you higher? If thats not a stapp jab please enlighten my as to what is.

if they start "jab"ing at stabb in their music i will ultimatly consider them as losers and stop listening to them.

^ may be the band is thinking of using some EXTRA publicity for that.............. questions regarding creed have always followed em....no matter what.........so why not use some of it as a little controvercial stuff...for extra publicity..............dunnoo....... but it all sound great.........just the titles sounds great.........damn.....whole songs might just blow my brains off...........damn

Creed7352

a jab at those at windup that wanted alter bridge to fail so creed would get back together and they could continue to make money from the creed cash cow.

oh, and that's speculation that flip's mom said...i'm just passing it along

it is all speculation and we have to wait for the offical track listing, lyrics, and possible explination of the song by alter brige...so it is not a big deal until we get a better idea of what the song is...

Is "Buried Alive" an Otep cover?

cariocawlad
05-26-2006, 01:47 PM
Or maybe a Venom cover...Who know's? We need some lyrics...

Creed7352
05-26-2006, 02:01 PM
no, the only cover at the show was whole lotta rosie...they played 3 new songs. bitch slap isn't the final title and the way they played those songs isn't the final version either, they could still change.

cariocawlad

Wow! This sounds really exciting...three new songs with non-creed titles...and those bitch slap lines really surrounded me.

There is a way we can download the performance?

Peace.

Creed7352

not yet...people have clips/vids etc, but they're going to ask the band if it's cool to post them tonight at the show in florida...if they say yes, they'll most likely post them at abb.net

sounds metal to me. I wonder if Myles can scream . i would imagine hed sound like the lead singer or the killswitch engage but who knows.

Creed7352
05-26-2006, 05:52 PM
it's been reported there is no screaming...myles is too smart to ruin his voice and start that screaming crap.

cariocawlad...i have to wait too man, i'm in california and they're not playing any shows here this year. :(

I understand that those who have the bootleg of the show are hesitant to post it, but I was wondering if one of those lucky people might post a few lyrics from the new songs? even just a few lines.

certainly that wouldnt be a big deal, would it?

cariocawlad
05-27-2006, 01:57 PM
Yeah...they might post some reviews, say how these songs sound...I'm very curious!

LeftOfTheMurder
05-27-2006, 02:39 PM
Yes. You'd think that, let's say I was the only one who had the bootlegs, those who actually have them would probably want me to let them know how the songs sound. instead of just saying "yea they played 3 new songs."

Musicians are always taking pot shots at their bosses or former bosses. In the NIN cover of Physical (1992, I believe, on Broken), Trent Reznor whispers in the intro: Eat your heart out, Steve," a reference to Steve Gottleib and his dispute with TVT records.

yea. my buddy was listening to a Wheatus album called Suck Fony....and i dont know anything about Wheatus, but he said it had to do with their problems with Sony Records. (Suck Fony = Fuck Sony)
