what do I know
I missed the sunrays too hard somedays
forgot to look up
did I really get too tragic
because I want to be forgiven

I want to be forgiven
for the things I've said
it's hard to understand this world
when it closes in on you
hard to try a little bit harder

maybe I should remember
always to look up
maybe I should remember
to be positive
and never to say die

it's so strange
how we can say all these lies
I don't understand why we can't try hard
why we can't notice anymore
that we might be at fault

how easy does it seem
to lose all hope, to lose your dreams
I guess we never know
how easy do we call ourseleves dead inside
noone knows how hard we fall

I've said too many things
that I see now I don't mean
I've cursed heaven
I've cursed my dreams
but now I can take another direction

show me how to see rightly
make me understand
because I'm willing to learn
to be more positive
to be more true
