this is about extended family that dont seem to have a desire to have a relationship with me or my siblings. there was a gap between late childhood to about 9th grade in which we had no contact cause they moved away. Now weve seen them about 10 times yet there is no emotional connections and what ive written is exactly how we feel.

mabye im expecting too much from
the plastic people they are
mabye the show they put on is
the very best that plastic people can give

as the only one who sheds skin

strangers stay away from me
I dont want your shallow touch
I don't care for your cold words
they don't cover your rejection
when all i want is you to know me
and all I want is to know you
