Not sure if they're related to the generic VBulletin template, the next software, or what... + when you click on the last page of a thread, it doesn't take you to the post at the bottom + for some reason, even if I use the enter key to space out everything, it all seems to run together when I submit

I don't understand what you mean for the first part. The second, I'm not sure about as well. Others seem to be using returns in their posts and it works. Try going to your CP > Edit Options > Miscellaneous Options and make sure you have the proper editor selected in the dropdown box. I think the default is the Standard Editor.

Here's a new paragraph, obtained by pressing enter twice in the editor.

hmmm... something strange is going on here...

it seems to work fine w/ IE (I'm making this post w/ IE), but with Firefox, when I click on the reply button in the previous post, it doesn't drop down here to enable me to type (I actually have to scroll down & click in the box to start typing). Also, the editor format or whatever that A/A thing up in the right corner is, that won't seem to work w/ Firefox, but it does w/ IE.

With the first part, I was referring to how, if you click on to go to any page w/ posts, it automatically drops down to the last post on the page, rather than staying at the header. so, for example, if I click on the link for the last page of a given thread, and there's 18 (of 20 possible) posts on there, it automatically brings up that post so that's the first one i can read, rather than having to scroll down to the bottom to get to it. does that make any more sense?

For the page thing - clicking on a page of a thread it should logically take you to the top of the page. Just clicking on the page number shouldn't bring you to the bottom of the page because the point is to go to that page of posts so you can view them. In other words, if it takes you to the bottom and you wanted to read that page, you'd then have to scroll all the way up.

If its taking you to the bottom of the page then again there seems to be a problem only for you? For me it takes me to the top of the page and I have to scroll to view posts. That is the correct way the board should be acting. Have you tried this in both IE and Firefox?

As far as your issue with returns, editing, and Firefox, I will get back to you. I haven't really tried anything with Firefox yet as I've just working on getting the template up. I will look into it and try to resolve the issue though because I know we have several Firefox users here, myself included (I just tend to use IE while editing crap because it opens up quicker than Firefox heh)

Well, the enter/spacing issue seems to be fixed, presumably from altering the editor formatting? But I still can't get this text editor box to work. I must be missing a plug-in or something....

Hrmm, I'm using Firefox 1.06 and everything works fine in Firefox. Which version are you using? Perhaps there's an issue with the latest versions? I'll have to upgrade and try.

I've got Version 1.07. I'll try & roll back to 1.06, see if that makes any difference.

It might have been a plugin issue like you mentioned. If you notice any other oddities, let me know.
