 Thnx for the tip Steve!  I've never ever really listened to Godsmack (heard about their name but that was about it  ) but you opened my ears!

cool song, the cd should be awesome
it's still hard to imagine a song like Awake done acoustically, it'll be interesting

I dont like Godsmack when they do soft acoustic stuff. For me, Sully has to be drowned behind the rest of the band. Take Alive, Greed, and I Stand Alone... awsome songs with loud ass instruments. Now take Vodoo and that new crap they released... Sully doesnt sound as if he were singing. sounds more like hes chanting, and its annoying. If i wanted to hear chanting.... id listen to tibeten monks.

As most know, I LOVE GODSMACK!!! Can't wait for the cd to come out!!! I had heard them do an acoustic set on a radio interview back in April, the night b4 Faceless came out and I was sooo impressed!! I loved it!! I was a little disappointed though to see that some of the songs they did that night aren't going to be on the cd. I can't remember all of the ones they did, but it kicked ass!! They did do Voodoo, and it was awesome, but unfortunately, that's not going to be on the cd.

Godsmack is ok... huge A$$ kissers though, man when pantera was still together, the godsmack singer practically kissed phil anselmo's feet and was in Vinnie and Dime's Clubhouse a lot with his band
