Same here...Creed will never ever have a song that I won't love.

In this area, DSD hardly made it. I was shocked it wasn't played like WAWO. It was on constantly. I personally loved that song, DSD, and was disappointed it wasn't as popular.

I agree; some say that Weathered wasn't as rockin' as the first two, or it sounded too "commercial" or "mainstream". The songs you mentioned above are the exact ones I thought of when I thought, I think Weathered rocked. And even lyrically, I think Weathered kicked butt - especially WGMB, very deep, intense, even spiritual, if you will. PEACE...

thatīs true.

WGMB is an awesome and epic song, but, if you compare to Faceless Man, its lyrics are not as intense, coz Stapp repeat the lines. Not only on Faceless Man, but on My Sacrifice and SHWM, for example. And I love those songs.

I dunno, maybe if they had more time to work on the album, it would have kicked so much more butts!

The thing is, before Weathered, nobody knew Creed in Brazil, for example. I was a die-hard fan since Human Clay (MOP wasnīt played here) and yet, I knew only one another fan and 2 more people that had heard about it.

Then wawo came and they get more known.

But when Weathered came out, itīs when they got big here. And after DSD, you almost have the impression that Creed is a teenyboopers band, ala The Calling... the pop radios play Creed a lot, the acoustic version of DSD... :mad2

thatīs why people stated the above

The solo was great, but lol... that doesn't make the song "hard."

If you want my opinion I don't think the band is gonna go I try to relive the MOP or HC days with the new album. What they feel right now is what they are going to write about and jam too. Remember that Tremonti is married and Flip is expecting a kid next month so maybe that will be reflected in the new album. And bands always move into new territory so I think they'll do new things that will still rock but not be like the other three albums which is great.

I think the only way you'll hear stuff from the MOP, HC days is if the band in fact makes a b-side album down the road that has extra songs created around the time of those 2 albums.

I don't want it to be exactly like MOP or HC, but I'd like to see something a little bit more "dark" and lyrically-dense than Weathered. Weathered had some headbangingly-catchy tunes, but it was a bit poppy for a hard rock band.

Yes maybe so maybe so, but what I am feeling from you is that you mean that in a bad way. I think it will make the impact of the new album bigger and better, because look at what Stapp produced when Jagger was born. A chart topping beautiful song, With Arms Wide Open!

Ehh... the touchy-feely stuff is good, it's just that I'd like to see some more of the MOP/HC-style harder stuff. Just to get a bit more of an edge in... you know.

Yeah I can see where you are coming from, and I understand, maybe Mark will mix the touchy-feely stuff with the hard-edgy stuff, and will come up with a touchy-hard album! (You can think of that in SO many ways)

But who knows what he is going to do, either way we will all be happy, I think this will be the best album yet.
