2Mr.CreedFreakTN: I am agnostic, leaning towards Zen/Buddism. But agnostic really.

I disapprove tatoos because they are often a permanent mark of moment's stupidity.
I found AIC - God tatoo corrolation interesting/funny mostly because AIC had songs liek God AM, and Bleed The Freak, which are strongly anti-Christianity.

And about avatar... I got tired of all the sleazy scott stapp avatars, so I decided to get funny looking one. That's it.

Fine, again, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. But I'm fairly certain the members of this bulletin board won't be swayed in their decision to get or not to get a tattoo based on your approval or disapproval.

P.S. advice everyone must listen to: no NOT NOT NOT get a tatoo with your g/f's or b/f's name! Even as a promise of love, cuz one day love migth be gone, relationship abandoned, and good luck with old tatoo and new partner....

Now THERE's one I have to agree with. I love my husband to no end, but there's no way I'd get his name tattooed anywhere on my body. (ok, it has NOTHING to do with the fact that his name is Hymie Mernsweiter

Hey Dogstar, I'll be thinking of you on March 1st, getting the vacation time you put in for! Of course, I'll be cruising the Caribbean, but I will still be thinking of you!! Oh, and by the way:

WAY TO GO!! I'm soo glad you got your tattoo!! See, I told you they aren't that bad!! Not too painful...I should have told you not to worry about the needle part, they aren't anything like getting a shot!! Just like you said, sounds like a dentists drill!! I feel the same way too, once you get one, they ARE addicting, gotta get more!!

Don't you know it!! It has been so freakin cold here for DAYS!! I can't even stand being outside!! I'm sooo looking forward to a warm, tropical vacation!! Thank God, only 2 more weeks to wait!! Then after that, only have to wait a few more months to go back to Orlando!!

Luvscott, have a great time in the Caribbean!!! I could use a vacation in a warm spot right about now myself. We got about 8 inches of snow here in CT yesterday and I heard we might get as much or more on Monday!!

Although I don't have a phobia about needles (I've had my share of them between getting shots, giving blood and stitches in various places) but since I want to get a tattoo myself, I'm glad to here it's not a painful process.

Creedfan63, the pain or discomfort afterwards is very tolerable. And the process itself was not bad at all. I didn't even flinch when the guy started working on my arm.
