Since we're talking about that movie, here's what you get when you total scores of whole bunch of reviews it got...

Yup, tons of critics and people gave the movie a horrible review. Almost everyone says it sucks.

not my type
as movies go -- this weekend is all about Kill Bill vol2 (which was much less action driven than vol1, but still was awesome)

They're good.
Look at it this way -- all the new comic book movies have slim predictable stories, focus on action, and yet pretend to be more than actio b-movies with higher budget. Kill Bill embraces being stupid predictable "style over subtance" movie, and has fun with this genre. Hellboy and such are really pretentious, while Kill Bill is all about having fun.

According to critics, a lot of movies suck. When I go to the movies, I go to have fun, and not to analize what is happening. If I go with a good mood, I like the movie and have fun.
Just an FYI... Eyes Wired Shut by Edgewater (which is on the soundtrack) is the theme song to WWE's Backlash Pay-Per-View tonight. H-D

Dunno I persoanlly have hard time enjoying a sucky movie. Punisher looks just like one -- pretencious, shallow style over substance type of movie, and from what I've seen so far -- movies creators have no sence of style.

I agree with Lechium. I generally do not like movies like The Punisher to begin with... Daredevil, Spiderman, etc. just aren't my type of movies.
