Creed Breaking Up???

Hi everyone...Can you please help me? I heard on my local rock station 99.9 KISW that there was a rumor that Creed was breaking up but the news hasn't made it official yet...Please tell me this is not true!!!! I love Creed...I await new cd's and videos...Please advise...Thanks so much...

Welcome, creedgirl!! There's another thread here in the band forum that confirms that the guys are in the process of working on their new cd. So I think what you heard on the radio was just a rumor fortunately because all of us here love Creed too.

Thank you...I have been reading all the stuff...And thank you for the welcome...I think I will be calling the radio station tomorrow and asking where they got that bad rumor from...Thanks again...

Thank you all...I think is pretty bad when a radio station blurts out somthing like that...That is a shame...I can't wait for the new CD!!!!!

There was a DJ here in Dallas that said Britney Spears had died, made a big deal about it. It was a "bit" and he didn't say he was kidding. He was promptly fired, and the radio station not more than 9 months later was sold to its present owner. I'm not sure if they are related of course.

Welcome to the board Creedgirl.....I wouldn't put much thought into the rumor that you heard via the radio. Sometimes DJs and other media persona tend to make jokes about things like that. I don't know why, but they do.
There is news that Creed is practicing and that should put to rest any "breaking up" rumors that may be flying around out there. Of course, no one can say for sure what is going on with the band except the members themselves, but I sincerely think that if a breakup were in the making or even a possibility, they certainly wouldn't bother creating an atmosphere in which they could practice. That would be alot of wasted time and money on their part........They have already set up alot of equipment and I think you along with the rest of us will hear a new CD sometime within the few months.......

it seems like when bands are gone from the spotlight, people assume that they will or have broken up...but not creed just yet
