Ouch. I was in a situation like that a long while ago. Ended up ruining my friendship with mate. As long as you believe its not your fault, then its all good.

shes a really jealous person and when me and her boyfriend became really good mates and started hanging out alot she couldnt handle it, the to make matters worse he finished her the other day coz he found someone he liked more, now she thinks he finished her to be with me which aint true.
