For the most unique thing, I'd have to say I gave one of my friends a mini can of Play-Doh. She said she was always bored during one of her classes.

Thanks for saying that but I honestly do not deserve to be member of the year...That is just the type of person I am....and yeah it was kinda hard for me to give that up but that look on that little girls face when Mark handed it to me was all I needed and I gave it to her...what really got me was this lady saw what was going on and offered me money for it right before I handed it to the little girl...there is nooooooooooooooo way I would have taken her money for it and not given it to the little girl!

whitebird, I love that story! That is definitely a unique gift.

The most unique gift I probably gave someone was a birthday gift I gave to my dad a year or two ago. Sometimes I have a difficult time knowing what to get for him but I lucked out one day and came upon something I knew he would enjoy. He's a NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhardt Sr. was always one of his favorite drivers. After Earnhardt's untimely death a few years ago, I found a nice wooden display case with a die cast model of his racing care with a litho of Earnhardt. Today it sits proudly in my dad's office in my parents house.

Thanks Sheila63...my Mom still can't get over it....she leaves on March 15.
I bet your Dad loves that litho of Earnhardt...I know one of my friends is really into Nascar and all of his collectibles are in glass cases he guards them with his life...LOL.
