YAY!! Hello! Are you back for good, or do you go back when your knee is better?

well here is the story for thoes who asked....
I injured my knee the first week I was there and they kept me around for an additional 10 weeks to see if it would heal up so I could continue with my training (it didn't) well it got better I guess but not in to tip top condition where I could do the running that was required of me so they sent me on "excessive leave" which means they gave me 6 weeks here at home while they make their decision weather or not to keep me in the Army they said chances were that they would release me with an "uncharichtarized discharge" which basically is close to an honerable discharge but I was not in long enough to be charichtarized as "honorable" so it is no skin off my back and no skin of thiers. my knee is fine in day to day things (except for the spells of arthritis from time to time) the problem is that my knee will not perform under stress, it buckels and the cartelage starts to degenerate (something that will require surgery in the future) but all in all its great to be home with my wife and daughter doing the things I love with the people I love. one more thing I learned my time away... GEORGIA SUCKS ASS ! (sorry to you people that live in Georgia) |
