Another thing i love about tool.. they MAKE you buy the album. The album art leads sooo much into what the rest of the album means and represents.. it's deep. Like.. in the lateralus liner notes.. in one of the pictures, the guy's brain... in the folds it says 'god'. wiiierd stuff

Yeah, I didn't have to download any Tool stuff because I liked what I heard. It's really cool to listen to an artist and look at the artwork at the same time. It gives the music a whole different feel. I find this the case with Jerry Cantrell's Degradation Trip Vols. 1 & 2. The artwork is very cool and totally fits the music and the vibe of the CD, dark and murky.

Yeah, it's a friggin crime, X. Wasn't sure about the numbers, but that sounds about right. The labels rake it in for sure. Some artists I'm sure get better deals than others.

I do this way too!!! BTW, I forgot to tell you: I downloaded Weathered 2 weeks before it was released in USA. My friend gave me a site where I could do that. I asked him how he got it, he just said he was in the "mafia"... not sure what he meant, I´m sure he was kidding though... He always gets these stuff... Anyway, as I didn´t want to get in Creed´s way, I didn´t spread the word. And I bought Weathered on the day it came out here in Brazil... That was a couple weeks later than in US... It was so fun having it before the others! I remember I posted a part of OLB lyrics on the Creed official BB... but I didn´t say what it was...people went nuts... Although I wasn´t a regular poster there, I think that people didn´t give me much credit! hahahaha

LOL, Marcos. That's so cool, though, that you had it before it came out. I did that with the Audioslave song, Cochise. I had it all memorized by the time I got the CD . Haha, I'm sure your friend was kidding about the mafia...
