I never got the difference between pit and rail

The pit is in the front of the stage, the rail is the railing you lean up against if you are lucky enough to be right up front.

Yes, Marcos. If you are on the rail, it's the equivalent of being in the first row. If you are in the pit, you are in front of the stage, but the rail is front row. The ONLY way to go, but you've gotta be earlyto the venue and intent on getting your spot.

It is an ALL day affair Marcos, the two times I was on the rail I waited in line for 6 hours or more and then it was a mad dash to the stage!!! My track days came in handy for something!
