CreedFeed 2003 Awards
I know it's kinda early, but what was, in your opinion,:
Remember Creed can't participate, since they didn't release anything new this year. -the best album released this year? -the best song? -the best new band? (band that released its first album) -the best riff? -the best new guitarist, bassist and singer? -the best guitar solo? -the best movie soundtrack? -the best concert?

-the best album released this year?
I don't know, it is hard to say, but from what I have heard on the internet, I am going with Nickelback. -the best song? Fuel - Falls on me, Someday - Nickelback, So far away - Staind -the best new band? Revis the best riff? not really sure -the best new guitarist, bassist and singer? not really sure -the best guitar solo? not really sure -the best movie soundtrack? not really sure -the best concert? The best one I have been to so far has been 3 doors down and all that played with them. I think these questions will be easier for me to answer when it's December.

well it's kinda difficult, because I mostly listen to music that caught my ear way back... but anyway, here goes:
-the best album released this year? Frengers, by Mew -the best song? Kashmir - Rocket Brothers -the best new band? (band that released its first album) Mew, once again -the best riff? Lampshade - intro riff in Adorable Void -the best new guitarist, bassist and singer? Dunno about that one. I think Mew would be my best guess - the whole band! -the best guitar solo? The one in the middle of "Eight flew over one was destroyed" -the best movie soundtrack? I rarely listen to STs... Maybe Daredevil... -the best concert? Lampshade -the best cover art? Really don't know... Hope ya recognize a few of the names!

best album this year- was within the last 12 months Pearl Jam Riot Act
best song- Can't Keep best new band- Mars Volta best riff-not technically difficult but Tom Morello's riffs are fantastic in their debut album. best soundtrack-daredevil best concert- you'll notice a patern here Pearl Jam Boston 3 45 songs i repeat 45 songs. over 3 nights they played nearly their whole list which is about 100 songs plus some covers with repeating only one song. as much as i love Creed, Pearl Jam are THE band.

Best album - Jerry Cantrell -- Degradation Trip Vols. 1 & 2 (came out Dec. 19th)
Best song - Audioslave: Show Me How To Live; Revis; Seven Best new band - Mars Volta Best riff - She Was My Girl -- Jerry Cantrell Best soundtrack - I don't have enough soundtracks to vote Best concert - Ohhhh, this one is tough one, but I'd have to say a tie among Pearl Jam, Radiohead and Audioslave...and Metallica, and Jane's Addiction....GAAAAAAAA, so hard to pick.
