whats happenning with Submersed ?

Thats what ive been thinking about...

On their webpage , their is no current tour , their is no new news...
Are they gonna bring out a new album anytime soon ?
Just what is happenning with 1 of my favourite bands

Maybe they are just taking som time off the road. I'm sure, when something is happening, WU will tell us. If you really wanna find out you should check their BB Board, Erock, (Erick Friedman - guitar), tend to post there and give the fans some updates pretty often.

Well... I don't know the scoop itself, but Screw-Up pulled them out of the road for whatever reasons... mainly coz they weren't doing well on radio, but doh! how can they do well if the LABEL doesn't promote them?

DC was very pissed on the last concert...

They're now in studio recording new material.

Yeah, Wind-Up is really Screwing-Up all their great bands. Have anyone EVER heard of Atomship? I suppose very few have, and they are so totally awesome... But Wind-up won't promote them, so they stay unknown!

WU is doing to them what they have done to 12 Stones: give the band good promotion for their debut CD, then yank it out from underneath them and basically ignore them. It wouldn't shock me if WU only sends them out on the road for 10-20 dates in promotion of their second CD, much like they did to 12 Stones. It's a shame, but apparently that is what WU does to new bands nowadays.

Windup should really respect the new talents they have today. Focus on giving them all good promotion.. Not ignore them majorty of the time.

I'd like to see WU take that approach as well, Greg. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they'll ever do that. I still wish they would, though, because bands like 12 Stones and Submersed deserve promotion.

maybe we should start a massive petition for WU to get its act in order, and have fans from all bands on the label sign on who are dissatisfied

I think that might be a good idea. Anyone want to write an online petition? If you do, I'll be sure to pass the info along to all the WU band boards that I am a member of.

i'd love to be a part of one, but i don't know about actually writing one myself... not too sure on what they'd look for & such. i suppose i'd be able to assist in tweaking it so it sound professional & what have you....
