tree of knowledge

what did we do it all for
to have cigarettes?
to have the atom war?
to have the internet?
to stop praising the Lord

we ate the tree of knowledge
we are the poisoned mind
we die away from joy
we walk towards the death of the earth
we are losing all that's natural

why did we lose the farm?
to have stress?
to have videogames?
to have the world of today
with no hope on the horizon

all the ignorants
so what do I do
live for the future
pretend I'm jesus
tell it to the world

who cares to know these days
how many do understand
I don't have the power to save
back to nature is the name of the game
before we all turn to rust
before it all turns to dust

well that was awsome thanks for sharing we,ve all ate from that tree but as long as we,ve excepted that we have ate from it and undrstand the reasons why we,ve hated that we ate from that tree, as the world unto the tree we may eat from it and we may live in it but we take no part of it, sometimes we feel as if we must and our heart is not in it but i loved the poem MissSeeker
