does scott s play guitar

i was wondering if scott plays guitar,i heard that he plays
.in one,the young grow old,and i was wondering if in the
.live version of never die,if that is scott playing the great.
solo in the begining of the song..
if so he really sounds terrific,i wished i could play guitar..

I'm almost 100% sure that Scott Stapp doesn't do any of the amazing solo work that you hear on live recordings. Tremonti is so GREAT why would you want to waste his talent?

BUT when I went to a Creed concert last summer Stapp did play guitar to keep the rythmn down during "Stand Here With Me" while Tremonti did the solo you hear on the album. Plus, in the 1st issue of CreedINK magazine Scott mentions that he's working on his guitar abilities and it will be incorporated more in upcoming albums and tours!!!

Stapp does not play guitar on any Creed record. He has, however, learned some of the parts for a few songs with Mark's help and did play a few of them during the Weathered tour.

I have heard the same, that Mark was teaching Scott some chords, it is pretty cool.

Sure enough, he was holding a guitar, he was playing it...yet no sound came out.
I'm thinking they turned the sound down so he could practice in a real life situation...

Kewl, wish he would have played guitar in VA last year! Curious now.

I heard he plays acoustic guitar on a lot of the acoustic recordings...is that really him or is Mark doing that? Re: My own prison, one, what's this life for...etc..

he only did it in two songs Dont Stop Dancing and Stand Here With Me and on those two songs he only does background durring the solo.

last time i saw them live he only did it on shwm

I know he plays guitar...
There are several pictures showing him with a guitar.. especially during those radio shows...
I also heard he plays piano...

.that would be really awsome if he did play piano to
.i love listening to piano ,ive never seen him play.
guitar but in a picture,im proud of him for learning.
or knowing how to play any musical instrument
.and proud of any of you who play to.
