Question?3DD/12stones concert

I have only posted here a few times but I come on the board every night to check-out what's going on. Well, I have a question for you guys. I know a few of you saw 12stones and 3DD with Creed, 12stones and 3DD are coming to my hometown(Jackson,Ms) on April18th and just wanted to know your view on the bands in concert. I really like 3DD, I love their recent cd "Away from the Sun". And I think it's neat that they are MS boys. My husband picked up the 12stones cd today. I listened to it a little on the way to work tonight. It sounds good. Well, do you think it is a concert worth going to?? Thanks- Tia

If I had the chance, I´d go, for sure. Both bands opened for Creed.
12 stones has a good sound, their debut album showed potential, but they´re not mature yet. I bet their next album is gonna be a blast!

3 Doors Down is awesome! You´re gonna love Be Like That ("He spents his nights in California"). They have melodic, catchy riffs that make everybody learn how to play the guitar... And, as 12 stones, their second album is awesome! Some of their songs are kinda depressing, but it´s really worthy! IMHO.

PS: I´ve never seen them live

btw, Paul McCoy (12 stones singer) recorded backup vocals for a new band called Evanescence. You might wanna check it out. The song is Bring Me To Life. Another good song from them is My Immortal. Evanescence has a female vocalist and uses a lot of piano on their songs! Different, but cool!

Yes, 3DD did a great job on NYE! And I enjoyed 12 Stones as well. I really like their debut CD and they had a ton of energy live. They did a little too much screaming for my tastes, but they rocked nonetheless. Paul McCoy can sing, so he really doesn't need to scream so much in concert. They were fun, though.

I thought 3DD totally ROCKED on NYE. It was the first time for me seeing them live. I enjoyed them so much that a few days after the concert, I went and bought their latest CD. They definitely have a new fan after that night! I'm not familiar with any of 12 Stones music but I think the show will be great, Tia.

I don't like 12 Stones at all. I just don't seen good in them. 3 Doors Down I like though, they do a nice live show.

yeah, I like the song, but I kinda agree...he made a nu-metal style that sucks, I´d rather he kept his band´s style...

Thanks guys for all the feedback. Sounds like I really need to get tickets and go. My husband told me today if I really want to go to go ahead and get tickets and he will go. He likes 3DD music. But, was not dying to go see them in concert. He is more into Christian music(he is the youth minister at our church), so when he heard about 12stones being the opening act, he was a little more interested in going. He wants to see what kind of live show they put on. If we go to that concert, we will be concerted out(if that's even a word because the night before we will be taking the youth group to see Mercy Me and Audioadrenline. So, that will be a AWESOME week-end to say the least:P :P Sorry, I am just now responding back but I do all my computer stuff at work. And I just got back to work tonight. We have the snail connection at home

LOL @ *concerted out*. That's funny. I don't think I could ever get concerted out. I so love live music. I have a big concert *weekend* coming up in April...My weekend is Monday and Tuesday and I'm seeing Pearl Jam on 4/28 and the Foo Fighters on 4/29 !

I hope you have a great time, Tia. I don't think you'll be disappointed .
