Live My Lie

Is it wrong to love knowing it will die
Is it wrong to live that lie
To live the illusion
To rest in its comfort for awhile
To hide the time bomb behind a smile
Only so it will explode in your face
Is it all just a waste
Slowly letting it slip farther away
Making it harder for another day
On that day that it ends
When we try and be friends
But what’s the use in trying
We both always knew our love was dying
And now we’re here crying
Letting go of the pieces you made in me
Only emptiness where you used to be
And I will never be the same
I can never be if I played the game
A game that I will never win
One that I always hate to play again
But I play and I hurt and that wont end
So is it wrong to play
Is it wrong to live the lie
To wait for that day
When you always know it will die
