Tell About Your Day Thread
Here you can gripe or rejoice on anything that happened to you during the day.
For starters, I received a letter today about the scholarship I won and that I'll be receiving it on graduation night. Also, I found out some junior guy that's in my desktop publication class likes me. My Govermnent teacher decided to give us a load of work that he wants due for Monday.

Congrats, Alisha.
Today, I donated blood. The lady did it wrong the first time and missed the vein, so she was twisting the needle in my arm trying to catch it, and I lost all feeling in my hand. Then she did the other arm, and missed the vein again, so twisted it and caught the vein. I got into a class a guy I know is doing about learning digital audio recording. He recently got us a small recording studio here at school. I voted in the student elections. I'll be going to a BBQ in a bit, then to a game night and a friends house where we will wait until just after midnight for the official announcement of winners and runoff voting. Wow. Me been a busy little boy. H-D

Oh dude....that's disgusting....oh my god. Things like that make me squirm. But good on you for giving blood.
My day has only just started....I woke up at about 10.30, had a shower, had some breakfast, styled my hair, gave my dad his birthday pressents and now I am on the computer, yay for me

WOW, Colin, it sounds like you went through the ringer to donate blood today.:eek Have fun at the BBQ tonight!
I had a pretty easy day today. I only had to work a half a day today which was really nice because it was a gorgeous day here. I decided to take a drive this afternoon and do some shopping but didn't have any success because I couldn't find the store, LOL. It was going to be my first time at this particular store and the directions I got off of the internet were wrong.

Never trust directions on the internet
What store was it? You should have gotten out and asked!

I am waiting dear........
I worked out in the yard, went out to lunch with a friend, came home and fixed cajun chicken linguine and then relaxed. It was nice. I have so much yard work ahead of me...... but I love it

I went to the gym for an hour, came home and started laundry. After my shower I went food shopping. On the drive home, my darling hubby called to tell me he locked his keys in his car, then walked all the way home. I got home and drove him back to get his car. Funny thing is, he had a spare key in his wallet that he found out about when he got home. D'OH!!!!! Made dinner and watched Spy Kids with the angels. That's about it!

let's see.... it was nice and warm and sunny out today. so, naturally, there were lovely ladies all over this campus of roughly 18,000 students wearing very, very, very nice clothing (god, it makes me horny just thinking about it!). i'd say that's the one thing i love most about spring: fine females breaking out the summer clothing, just itching to get into something more comfortable (and, heh heh, more revealing!). mmmmm........

hello!
my day started out like it always does. i woke up at5:30, made a pot of coffee, waited until 6:00 so i could wake up my son so he could catch the bus on time. i sat down and waited until 6:15, then woke my daughter up so she and i could stand at the bus stop for her bus. i then came home , got another cup of coffee, and waited to get my hubby off to work. after he left, i had a little peace before my 3 yr. old gets up to start his usual day of his favorite videos! i then try to do my usual housework without alot being accomplished , because my baby boy likes for me to sit and watch movies with him. i try to get as much as possible done before 2:35p.m. when my daughter gets out of school , then my oldest gets home at around 3:15 or a little later. i then bounce between feeding them something to eat to tide them over until supper! i then try to have supper done before their dad gets home at around 5:00 or 5:30. this is my everyday routine!!! jjluvscreed |
