Here it is, as yearly promised hehe! I think I have done this for 6 or more years on here now!

CRUELTY TO SINGLES DAY 2009

Oh its that time of year all over again
That the singles attest to with painful regard
If you find yourself in that place once again
I hope that this poem will make it less hard

Valentines movies, chocolates and all goodies
The lovers swoon, the stores cash in
Love song dedications are on every station
The singles grimace, the partners grin

Oh but we cannot blame the lovely couples
They are being exploited by corporate jerks
Who love using romance and even true love
As one of the years biggest profiting perks

So us singles will just have to wade it all out
Til this day is over, oh I can’t wait til then
The more depressed, the more chocolate consumed
Oh corporate giants, you win out again!
