Singles
Ok, considering Wind-Up's strategy for all their bands, my pick is Alterbridge will go:
1st single - something mainstream, good rock to catch everybody's attention, nice tune, not too slow, not too heavy 2nd single - hard rock, heavier. 3rd single - ballad, probably the song written for Mrs. Tremonti which would be good for us to don't mention its title, since the guys want to keep it quiet. What do you think?

Sounds about right, i mean thats how they did human clay and weathered, and then looking at evanescence that seems about right.

I imagine their first single to be as catchy as "Higher" with awesome riffs, but slightly heavier.

Mrs. Tremonti = Mark's, Dan's and Michael's mom
not Mark's wife

you guys seem preddy spot on, a fairly mainstream sounding song that is slightly heavier then creed's stuff and the song for mrs.tremonti being the third single. all guesswork obviously......
it depends on how the first single is recieved, they may have to change their strategy. |

"The song about our mom is titled In Loving Memory Of and this one will definately be a single down the road. The raw emotion of this song is simply staggering. Myles sings it in a very soulfull and haunting way. I think this song will affect the masses like With Arms Wide Open did, although in a different way. It is a song that brings tears to just about eveyone who has heard it." - Michael Tremonti (Mark's brother) |

The album version, Mark demo, or live studio version (the one you attended a while ago)?

I think Mark should sing that song seeing as it was his mum that died. That would be cool, the emotion would come out more real

I mean not saying that it won't be real with Myles, but it would draw me in deeper if Mark was singing it

The emotions will be in the music and lyrics Mark has written, Myles voice will really enhance it.
