About this whole break up thing and whose at fault, I'm going to point my finger at Scott Stapp. He's got a history of fucking up, and the guy can act like the biggest dick in the world. Mark I believe was always the true brains behind Creed and always wanted to go that extra step with the band. I don't hate Scott but the guy is an ass. Mark on the other hand is probably one of the nicest guys in rock music. He pretty much has no ego and doesn't bring himself to be great. I wish the best to his new band and I'm damn sure its going to be very successful. As for Scott lets see what kinda people he can pull together to help him out.

With all due respect, can we please refrain from the pointing fingers/taking sides and ASSUMING who's at fault for the ALLEGED breakup? For goodness sake, this topic is getting old. It's all rumor, speculation, heresay, whatever. Until someone from management or the record co. or Creed themselves make an official announcement (mind you, I stopped holding my breath for that a LONG time ago!), it is still speculation and rumor. All pointing fingers/taking sides does is cause bad vibes to come about, and there's enough of that in this world. Let's keep the positive vibe in here, folks.......PEACE

I might find it easier to believe that you don't hate Scott if I didn't see the words ass and dick in your post. I take it your observations of both Scott and mark are from personal experiences in meeting them?

The main point through my post is that Scott Stapp has an ego problem and most of you must see that accept for the few that are blinded by his boyish good looks. All I'm saying is there was probably something Mark wanted to do with the band that Scott would not agree on (Atleast thats what I believe) that caused some arguments and the alleged breakup of the band. I'm not really siding with Mark even though he my favorite member and role model, but Scott has made problems in the past for himself and the band. Why do most people hate Creed, 3/4 of them will say cause of Scott Stapp. Musically everyone in the guitar world pretty much worships Mark and what he brings to the business. I'm just kinda pointing at Stapp because of past instances if indeed the breakup is true

Um, Mr.Anderson, so you've sat in on the rehearsals, meetings and song-writing sessions to witness Scott Stapp's ego in the works? Give me a break. And to say Mark has no ego is ridiculous. To be in that business you have to have an ego, frontman or not. Get a clue and stop spewing crap unless you can back it up. If you want to say you perceive ego in his performance, assuming you've been to a concert, then so be it. That's a personal interpretation. But what you're doing is just as bad as the idiots we criticize for ragging on him and the band without having the facts.

Bottom line: We don't know what caused the breakup so it is POINTLESS to speculate, criticize or point fingers until we do. And we may never know.
