Nightwish - Dark Passion Play

I got this album about a week ago, and I have to say, it's pretty damn impressive. I was worried that the album would be a let down since it's their first one without Tarja, but it's a really good. Anette brings a unique style to the band. Anyone else get the album?

I can't say if it's gone worst or better but I still like lyrics and music and ain't that most important (she ain't bad looking either)

The songs are pretty good. I like Marco's song The Islander, but even though he's a good singer, I'd rather just have Anette doing most of the singing.

I promoted for this album and don't even remember how it sounds. >.> Dang.

I'm not a big fan of female vocalists anyway.

I am late but I thought I would just post something anyways...

I was a little hesitant as well with the new singer. She is a bit more contemporary than I would expect in a band like Nightwish and at first listen of the album, she didnt impress me much in the first couple of songs, but as the album went on, she appeared to have a bit of diversity in her sound.

The orchestral stuff on the album is just awesome. Wow. And the songs are really really good!
