bonjour from africa
hey guys, its me, dan. really; its me this time. anyway, im in africa, and im just chillin. actually, its super hard being here, because i cant understand what anyone is saying. i know that theyre speaking french, but its crazy french. anyway, if any of you have ever seen fight club, i live at a house just like the house in fight club. there are rats and roaches all over the place. anyway, i just wanted to say hi. i hope everyone is doin well. and be nice to hannah, my bestfriend/¨girlfriend¨ anyway take care, and ill be back next week. love you all!!

Is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with B/c i've seen more spine in jellyfish and ive seen more guts on 11 year old kids. Hi Dan!
Its great to hear from you  I hope your doing well and that you stay safe over there! My brother went to Africa 2 years ago with his school on a mission trip and he told me all about the rats and bugs there  Oh and if your keeping a wallet, the back pocket is not a safe place for that  The people there are known to pick pocket! My brother told me that as they were walking there that he felt a hand go into his back pocket and then go right back out. Just some fyi for ya,lol.Not sure if I'd want to go to Africa myself cuz just the thought of flying scares me

omgoodness. it's you! but how. is this legal? im so confused. so africa is like nasty nasty. well, at least you're spiritually clean. haha did you guys ever find your luggage? i hope so. guess what! mom's birthday is tomorrow! she's excited. itll be fun. im so glad to here from you. hopefully youll get my letters soon and send me a little somethin' somethin'. thanks for the "its so long i could use it as a talk" letter. i loved did! oh. and about those journal pages from efy. i wrote them like i was writting a journal. it just made it easier imagining i was writing you. i never thought id mail them to you. so if you dont understand it all it's okay. thanks babe. love you! --~Hannah

Hi Dan, it is another world in Africa. I worked with two little girls, beautiful children who told me that their Mother liked to shop.
They told me that she purchased many shoes. Then they mentioned she purchased toothpaste, toothbrushes and soap. Their Father had died, and the three of them would go back to Africa each year, when the girls were out of school to see relatives, and take them the items that they had purchased. I will never forget their little faces, as they told my their own story of family and sharing. We in America have much, thank you for sharing yourself with the world. |

Hey Elder Royal!!! Sup? It's awesome you could get online. Some Missions (or Mission Presidents) don't let missionaries go online. It use to be that they couldn't go online at all, but they started allowing e-mail, and maybe some other stuff a few years ago. Glad you're doing well. Sorry to hear about all the bugs and stuff. I'll write to ya again in a bit.

thanks guys! its good to hear from you all. the bugs arent too bad out here...i can count the number of times ive been bitten on one hand...but then again, im superman, so if a bug tries to bite me, it just explodes. i see that my mainman, the dancing banana is still alive. heh heh
anyway, colin, my president doesnt have any real rules on internet use...he just sats dont do anything bad...if you know what im talking about anyway, i gotta get goin, guys. but dont fret, ill be back next week to tell you about more of my adventures in the motherland a.k.a. africa! hannah, yeah we got our luggage.bye!!
