Windows

Windows

Flecks of gold
Hazel edged
Upon a field of green
Surrounded by a sea
Of steel blue
Tempered with cerulean
At the center…a dark moon
Reflects the light outside…
Stands guard o’re the fire
That burns within
Storms rise and fall…
Lightning flashes one moment
Devilish mischief the next...
Moods come and go
With the speed of a child
Flipping a light switch on and off
Landscapes change
With the seasons
Colors mix and blend
Like autumn leaves
Or a change of curtains
Endless depths beckon exploration
But with a careful hand…
As vulnerability peeks from the shadows
Trying hard to hide
Whisked away in the arms of inner strength
Kissed goodnite by the heart and gentle soul
Such wonders to behold
Seen thru the windows in the house
Of a man

Point of No Return/Phantom Of The Opera

You will forever remain the music
And I…the song you sing
