Missy Jo and the Hill of Graves

[Torn Signs]

Missy Jo stood silent before the hill of graves,
Above the emerald rough grass, above the canopy of dead souls, stood the mahogany cross,
On it Jesus was stapled, his arms stretched out at max length and hammered to the saddlebrown wood, his knees bent so his feet could be thundered together with long silver shards of metal. His face was of sorrow, yet with wisdom as his eyes were closed in a state of peace. Died, he died there on the cross, never worrying about his own life's loss. For us his crimson blood poured down and massacred his flesh corpse. For us and our wrong doing he asked God to forgive his very own murderers, they did not know, they did not know what they were doing. They did not understand.
Missy Jo turned her sight away from the statue on the hill and sauntered for a new answer. The road of Heaven, the road of Jesus the Nazareth was too much to think of and bare. She thought herself unworthy. Unworthy of the man who told all to love their neighbors. To live for love. To live for God. To not worry and not fear. To be wise. She was one who could not stay stable for such unrealistic deeds. She was not strong, and by no means was she even her parent's child much less a being she could not see or hear.
Not being spoke to, Miss Jo had grew up without any answers or any knowledge. Only what she would hear from a blind retired Minister who lived near her shelter would she know any of the truth. Poor Miss Jo walked away that day. She walked away from Jesus of Nazareth. From the Son of God who had shown he was worthy of forgiving mortals of their sins. From the one male who could walk on water and cure the blind, the crippled, and the broken soul. Poor Missy Jo walked away from the truth, no verdad for Missy Jo as any sign of even gaining any spiritual hope or faith was wiped away when she did not except the crucifixion. It was fake. The bible was child's stories in an ancient book created to take over gullible and vulnerable mortal's lives. What could you expect from a book she asked herself as she walked away? Answers, no book had the answers if it was true only God and his Son are the only real know-it-alls. But if that was true, then equality was fake and Missy Jo would not have that because discrimination was wrong.
Missy Jo,
You fell down the wrong hole,
Missy Jo,
You went into Lucifer's grasp,
Missy Jo,
He wanted to be ahead of God,
And he wanted to tempt God's son Jesus to prove God was weak.
Where did you end up Missy Jo?
Who was really weak?
Was it God and Jesus,
Or Missy Jo...
Was it you and Lucifer,
A blasphemous foul life for you now,
Ignore the retired prophet's words,
Be beautiful and have equal in the most desperate of times,
Over the true verdict,
Bye Missy Jo,
You have your life with Mr. Satan,
But as for us Christians Missy Jo,
Jesus loves us with God,
Loves you too, but you are blinded with lust and love of vileness to really see it.
If you would've came with us Missy Jo,
You wouldn't have fallen down the wrong hole,
Because Jesus was nailed to that cross not worrying about his own life loss,
And God is there for us when the showers go from clear to black,
There is hope for those of us who stopped in that graveyard and went up to the hill.
For us who admitted that the statue was true,
For those of us who were not afraid to kneel down before the statue and weep our tears of finally coming to reality,
We did not run Missy Jo,
We admitted who we are,
And who he is,
That faith is stronger then vision,
That hope keeps one strong in the fight against the fallen angel,
That no matter who we were, we are better as we are with Jesus as part of our Spirit.
I'm Sorry Missy Jo,
You skipped it out too early.
See you someday as you fade even more away in your misery,
As the devil bounds you down,

Are you really sure sight proves everything now?
Or is there something so ineffable in life that other souls would die for?
