Back to School stuff

I have a question for the kiddos in school.

im looking into getting a messenger bag and since i dont get out much, i am very lost as in where to look. i need something big but not too big. basically im need something to hold my stuff:

- school stuff: notebooks, textbooks, binders
- my laptop and its acces.
- pockets for my pda, minidisc, cell and thier acces.
- mesh pockets
- extra stuff that i cant remember right now...

so far ive looked at two places, Spire and Timbuk2. i like timbuk2 alot because it gives me alot of flexability and it lets mecustom build and choose almost anything i need. i just cant seem to get the price below 200. Spire i like alot, i got one of them for my dad. i like em alot because they are designed toward the super-geek who watches alot of movies. all thier stuff is lined with kevlar which makes them bulletproof. i would sooooo buy that crap in a heartbeat, but they dont give me the same felxability as timbuk2. right now i have a laptop backpack, which is really great and big but it isnt proportion properly for all my crap. ive allready had a few things break on me.

if anyone here has some input or advice on where i can get a good one or who makes good ones id greatly appreciate it. or if you just want to tell me im a fucking idiot with alot of money and no common sense, thats good enough for me.

ive never used one, but i have seen alot of people with em... so i just want some advise before i spend my money on the kevlar.

I don't have any advice for you on that topic, I am sorry, but I thought I would post anyway and bump your thread up for someone who may have some pointers and might have missed this thread.

haha, mulletman wants a man-purse. my friend has got a man-purse, but it's not the same thing as what you're looking for. kevlar? lol, what would you need that for?
