A lofty eyed generation
Without thought or hesitation
Hold themselves in high esteem
Building on imagined dreams

Reality is sheer perfection
Chosen god-like by self election
Their only thought…make a name
Carving notches with their fame

Bring us honor
Recognition…Fame
Come out on top…can’t complain
That’s the purpose of life’s game

Look upon the face of pride
Something that the eyes can’t hide
Here we see the heart’s condition
Loosing sight of it’s true mission
