how long have I been hiding
just to look into the eyes of the world
and find myself everywhere
I was always distant
now I look into these eyes
calling me

all the grief is turning into black light
noone knows still
I'll never know love again
no matter if I'll open my heart
I'm robbed of this feeling
condamned to hide

my silent cries
sometimes were too much to bear
I have so much that I long for
and I'll never be free
you'll look into my eyes
but you won't see me

don't close your eyes my friend
you freed me from my cage
and maybe I can free you from yours
maybe we can be freed from rage
you'll see through time our love will only grow
and how it ends only heaven knows
