Clueless and Happy
I'm generally very positive but I sit down and write something and that never comes out....oh well I hope you enjoy this one......
Out with you for what feels like the millionth time At the same old cafe My name a picture You may gaze at upon the wall Come to me when you're feeling down Or laugh about that joke I told six years ago To you I'm translucent You don't know me at all You walk right through me Why am I even here? I'm cursed Cursed with concious thought Why couldn't I be blissfully unaware Just like you? Would you know my hopes and fears? Or that the peace in my soul Is slowly drowning behind these tears? Would you know what I did with my day Or know my favourite song? Had just about enough of this banal reality Of habit and this ugly body that keeps me in slavery So reach out.....part of the problem or the solution? Maybe the prophet is right Do I desire this lonliness? A thousand acquatiances but not a single friend Am I such a fiend? Will faith ever again become sight?
