You have to go for the guy you would never go for! That's what Steve was for me. He really wasn't my type but I just really liked him. I'm also an idiot because we have been together a long time but I did let him get away from me once. I broke up with him and for a little over a year we weren't together! I dated two different guys. One of them was the mysterious kind and I fell for his act! He treated me like shit for 6 months! He used to tell me I was pretty but would be beautiful if I just lost some weight! Well, needless to sat it soon became over and as soon as Steve got discharged from the Navy we saw each other again and it was like it never happened! We don't even count it, that we broke up! I liked the bad boys too but they just really suck! I guess it's true about the saying: "Nice guys finish last" I'm glad I got mine!
