today I learned that dvds from the UK don't work in America. Unfortunatly I had to spend 30$ in DVDs to realize that....

Random thought: My kitties are too cute. They gave each other a cleaning, and now Rose has her paw around Theo's neck. I wish I had film in my camera. I really should get a digi camera.

I bought the concert videos for the band the music. It sucks because they are a UK band, and they dont sell the dvds here. I guess I'll have to live without.

Hmmm, any way you can copy the files to your computer or something and then maybe rip it to a DVD-R? I wonder if there is some software that would encode it to US standards, whatever they are.

Last friday I went to a store to buy Foo Fighters album -IYH- and even though its price was good-(a promotion)...I just decided to not buy the cd cause i thought i could find out for a better price. -"hey!, Im not supid, I wiil not pay it!No way! I can find it for a real good price! "

Well, after look for it in several stores I was forced to admitt: there was no better price than the first one.So last night, I came back to the first store and to my big surprise : there was no copy. No one!!!! I couldnt find any Foo Fighets album. Definitely there are a lot of smart people...and definitely I dont belong to that group, cuz now I have to buy it for a higher price...

I tried doing that, but the computer wouldn't even register that there was a dvd in there, I tried a lot of stuff to get it to pop up, but it wouldnt....

^That sucks about the foo fighters cd. A lot of stores are giving a huge price for that cd because it has 2 cds in it. They were selling in at barnes and noble for twice the price of a normal cd. I got it the week it came out on sale for 10 dollars though

I want to buy NIN's Only single with all the DVD stuff, but it's a European release, so I don't know if I should bother if it won't play on my computer

It would work here in Australia...our problem is that most of the good US ones arent playable here. Your best bet if U like alot of UK stuff is to get a multi region DVD player so that u can play UK ones or whatever. I am gonna invest in one cos i have a couple here that i cant play cos they are American ones!

I thought about doing that, but I don't want to spend a lot of money just to play 2 dvds that I own. I think I'm going to try to send the dvds back (bought them online)
