Thank You from Creed
To all of our fans,
We wanted to personally and sincerely thank all of you for your continued support over the last year and a half. Unfortunately, due to personal scheduling conflicts, we weren't able to attend the People's Choice Awards and American Music Awards this year. It's always an incredibly rewarding and appreciated surprise when we're acknowledged for what we do. The most important awards to us are the ones that are determined by you, the fans, such as the awards mentioned above. 2002 was an unforeseeably rough year at times but your overwhelming support of the music, the shows and everything we do as a band is what carried us through. We saw almost one million of you over the last twelve months while out on the road, and each and every one of you are what made the Weathered tour the success that it was. In a year that saw our economy in a slump and fans having to be more and more selective of the records and concert tickets that they buy, 2002 proved to us yet again that we have the most supportive and loyal fans that any band could ever wish for. Again, thank you and we wish all of you a happy 2003 -- we'll see you next year! Scott, Mark and Scott This was sent from Creed.com Hope this heals any upset fans. |

I checked my email after I read it and found the same email. I think it's great to send out this message.

one thing stood out though!
2003+1 = 2004. Does this mean no touring this year? Hmm..

I think a year off would do them good. If they were to tour again this year, I'm sure there would be a lot of planning involved and that would cut short the time they need off. Plus, Scott P. is going to be a father in the summer. I can't imagine he'd want to leave his newborn to tour this year after they spent a whole year on the road.

I completely agree... but JHM said in their "apology" that Creed would be touring this summer. Just wondering which is actually the case.

Yes, that has been mentioned before, but I haven't heard that anything has been confirmed.

They REALLY need to take the whole year off!!! It would be nice for a release of the DVD to keep us hungry fans happy. I hope this year brings them lots of peace and happiness!!!!

I believe what JHMP said was they would be working on a new album later this year and touring next year. I think we are confusing it because it was so close to the new year. |
