Stapp To Talk On Chicago's Q101

Radio Station Q101 in Chicago menrtioned on this mornings morning show that Scott Stapp will be calling into the station sometime during the morning of 1/10/03 to "explain his actions" at the Chicago show.

Did anyone else in the Chicago area hear this? A friend of mine told me this is what they heard on the drive into work this morning.

Could be interesting.....

I heard that too on the radio from Mancow this morning. I have heard in an interview with Scott that him and Mancow are friends so I can believe this. We will see.

i heard on monday that mancow and all them ripped the hell out of them, so i have a feeling that some phony is going to call in and just bash everything...but i will have a tape set for sure!

Yeah, I have heard mancow before on other stations that carry him. It's probably going to be a fake and they'll just do some *comedy* thing.

K all here it is. I emailed Freak over at q101 to see if this was true. Here is the copy of the email he sent back to me.

Maybe we should email Q101 and ask them to record the interview in mp3 format and have it available for download from their site.....

The person that e-mailed Freak......good move. Freak is pretty cool and so is Mancow.

Let's not start spreading rumors that Freak and Mancow ripped the band about the 12/29 concert. Mancow was out of the country so he wasn't at the show.....Freak was there tho, and to my satisfaction explained to Mancow what happened and how crazy things were that night. Some of the callers that phoned in ripped the band. The only thing Mancow said was that, if CREED ever breaks up they would be featured on VH-1 and clips from the Chicago show would be shown. They also mentioned that Stapp wants to be like Jim Morrison of the Doors, and if he (Scott) continued with such behavior then he was well on his way.

Hey, maybe it was Freak who got Stapp so bombed.....Freak did come out on stage with a 5th of whiskey!!!!!

Figured I would get it straight from the horses mouth. Freak is cool and generally answers most questions that are sent to him.

LMAO. He sure did along with the guy from Local H. He was drinking throught his whole show. Once in a while he would reach behind the whiskey and get some water.
