New info about Chicago Show - Page 2

okay ... i really wish this were just a bad dream! i can't believe all of this happened! my heart really sank hearing what happened last night.

i do have some questions though ...
John, how do you know all this info about what Scott did backstage? you said he didn't throw up and that he thought the show was over, etc, etc.

i think someone else said that he drank about a 5th of JD before going on stage ... while others are speculating that he was on heroin. (GOD, I HOPE NOT!!!)

I may just be naive and do want to believe it ... but i really don't believe it! I can't believe he is on drugs.

does anyone think that his behavior has something to do with the steroids he's taking?? steroids have been known to make people act crazy ... moody, depressed and sometimes even violent. maybe combined with whatever he did drink, it was just a really bad combination.

i am going to the philly concert tomorrow and am terrified of what to expect.

i just can't believe this is the same man that i saw back in July. they were SOOOO awsome! the thing i like most about him is that he seems to be a genuinely good guy.

i really hope he's okay and he gets off this crappy medicine and gets his act together!

I just read a Chicago concert review on Chicago Metromix in which someone said "<i>It reminded me of a Van Halen concert I had gone to in the David Lee Roth era in L.A where he drank a whole fifth of Jack Daniels on stage and actually stopped a song and told the audience he "forgot the words"</i>" - maybe this is where the confusion is coming from??

I'm from brazil so i get the news from this community, since here they are not very famous...and i just can't believe what i've read..
Let's prey that he was just dunk, that wasn't any kind of heavy drugs, i've already lost one idol (Kurt Cobain) that i didn't even had the chance to meet or go to a show, because of heroine...can't stand the very thought of stapp going this way too...

I send my best wishes to stapp and the whole band in this dificult time...

This is terribly disturbing to me!!!

What the hell is going on? I sure hope this does not break up the band! I can't imagine how embaressed Mark and Flip must have been! God what is going to happen NYE??????

I am really glad I saw Creed when I did the 4 times, he was in his prime and that is how I want to think of him, BUT.....obviously he is going through some horrible issues and we as fans can only stick by him and hope for the best!

I´m fed up with this bashers who signed up after Chicago...

the problem is that Stapp prob mixed his drugs (medicine drugs coz of that throat problems) with alcohol... that´s the reason of his behavior... just think!

All I have to say is I hope he is not mixing perscription drugs with alcohol! I have seen so many people go into comas from this at the hospital! My heart aches for Scott and the band, I sure hope 2003 brings much needed rest and closure to a hellacious year!

Yeah I agree about the bashers after the Chicago show, have a little compassion man! I know you all are pissed off BUT........obvioulsy there is more to the story than any of us know!

i can say that i kind of made a "bashing" post last night. but i did it for good reasons:

1) it gave me a chance to finally sign up for the message boards and talk to other creed fans

2) it gave me a way to vent out my disappointment

like i said earlier in another thread, the people that are angry and upset about what happened last night are being misunderstood. all of us that were at the show are very shocked at what we saw. in fact its the only thing i have really been talking about today, because i am scared that something more could lead from this...

no one really has the facts yet, and people will talk and gossip and make up stuff until something actually comes out from creed or wind-up. until then all we can do is pray...

Yes, I agree. We are all just saddened and mad about what happened the 29th. I love the music and saw them earlier this year. This is not typical of them. I think once we calm down a bit we will all be better off. We turned on the CD yesterday, I couldnt listen to it without feeling like crying. It is almost like we already have lost Scott? I hope he gets himself through this, once he does he will be stronger and better than ever before! The whole band will be. If they can stand together now, what will come from it should be wonderful.

My heart sank when my friend told me to get on the site and read the thread about the concert. We have to pray for the band. We have to give support to all the true diehard fans jenrn,teriB19,and all the others out there, YOU know who you are. Drugs and ETOH don't mix and I hope Scott doesn't spiral out of control. We don't need to lose another great rock star to that POISON
