Update of WinterFest 2004
What an awesome night! I took one of the busses that left at 6:30 PM and got up to Bogus at about 8:00. We started off by getting some tubing in, which was so much fun. We did all kinds of stuff going down the hill... forward trains, backward trains, on our backs, on our stomachs, even a 25 person circle, and speed races. When we got back to the lodge, we were freezing cold, and it was time for dinner. The menu consisted of Italian Meatballs, Hot Wings, Build-your-own sandwiches and potato salad. Everything was so good. Some people had been up since about 8 AM to get some of the free snowboarding and skiing.
Glen Phillips was the featured performer (I've never heard of him, but others had). Just a solo guy with a guitar. Not too bad a show. Had the chance to meet him and shake his hand afterwards. Some people were getting autographs, but I didn't. The next band to hit the stage were called Sittser, and they were nothing short of AMAZING! I got their album and autographs. All really nice guys. One of 'em, you could see his pecks through his shirt. And there was this really really hot blonde chick working at their table. There was a lot of dancing, head-banging, and moshing during their set. There were a lot of drunk people there -- considering the 6 kegs of MGD and Miller Lite, I guess that's expected. Luckily, me and some of my semi-drunk friends got on what became the sober/semi-drunk bus home. The party lasted until 1 AM, and I got to bed around 2:30 AM. The T-Shirts we got were pretty sweet looking too. Awesome night overall. WinterFest is the most awaited and best anual party ever. Even more people go to that, than toga. It's cool though. I like hot drunk girls. They like me. It's wonderful. H-D

I don't like Miller Lite. That commercial they've got w/ the "I can't taste my beer!" is somewhat ironic to me and my buddies, b/c to us, it doesn't have much taste. Bud Light's better. Plus, being a St. Louis boy, gotta go w/ the hometown stuff.
