Oh my gosh Sheila, that was so sweet of you, I am so glad I have inspired you to get up and motivated!!! That made me feel so good, thank you for that! :P

I'm glad to hear it, my mum is on Weight Watchers, and they are excellent, very understanding, they help you keep on track, and make you feel good about yourself too. If you join you get this Points Guide, which should decrease the bad eating habit that we all have. It tells you how many points are for what foods, and depending on how much you weigh, you get a certian amount of points for each day, it's a really good way to keep on track with eating.

I now have one of my mum's old Points Guide, even though I am not on Weight Watchers, it is still good to keep track of what I eat and how many points I consume every day.

Again Sheila, thank you for that, I hope you do well girl. I'll keep you up to date with my progress, if you keep me up to date with yours!

Nice work Julie

So, where abouts do you walk, like what is the scenery like? Water, trees? Up town?

Hey, Hayley, good for you on taking a healthy approach to your eating. BTW, you are beautiful just as you are! And you're not heavy in the least from the pics I have seen of you. I know how hard it is hard for girls your age to be comfortable with their bodies. But you should be .

I know, it's just that I have never been happy with my self image, I have never been happy with my body, and now it is time to change that for good. I'm being safe, being very sensible with what I eat and how I exercise, I don't starve myself silly like some of those other girls do, I just think that is wrong.

And thank you Dogstar, that was very nice. I have changed from those 2 pictures that are up in the Gallery though, that's for sure. And trust me, from what you see there, there is fat hiding in there, you just can't see it.

Na mostly, I would just love a flat stomach, I have never had one, and it would boost my self confidence so much if I could loose weight and be a happier and healthier person all together.

Plus, it really helps to have my family and friends with me on this one also, gets me more motivated than ever!

Thanks everyone for your support, you guys really are the best :P

Thanks Hayley!
I usually walk in sub Divisions where there are houses or I'll walk to Sams Club andthat is 3 miles there and back, or I'll walk in other places. Just depends on how far I want to go

What's Sams Club?

It sounds nice, and you walk so far, must make you feel good when you come back home.

Sams Club is a bulk store
They sell anything from food to clothes, and stuff for the home and outside, like garden things and furniture and everything pretty much

LOL, you're too funny, Hayley, but I sure understand where you are coming from. You sound as if you are approaching this with a level head, and that is great!

Sheila - I like WW - it is easy to follow if you want to - and when I am having a hard time I just eat their frozen entrees for lunch and dinner and it is a breeze. I like the points - if nothing else it helps you gauge what you are taking in and find a little more balance. I have not joined but had once before and am following the points system now - I am down 6 pounds, maybe more haven't weighed recently - but a pair of pants I bought Sept 5th are now too big on me- and I am not suffering! It is worth joining to at least get the materials. You can also join online! Just thought I would share some 411 on WW -

Julie, that sounds a little like a shop we have over here called the $2.00 shop! They sell absolutley anything you can think of, for just 2.00, it's great. I get alot of things there because they are such a cheap price, I get belts from there, some jewelary, hair clips, my brother get's toys, it's such a great shop.

And Dogstar, it's true  Alot of my friends say "You're not fat" and all of this stuff but I know I know what's under my clothes, and i'm ABOUT TO GET RID OF IT Thank you, I think I am doin good too, sensible is the way, it will take time to loose the weight, but it's better than spinning out of control and ending up as thin as a rake, that's for sure.

That's very true, the Points Guide and the Diary's are what keep people motivated, and on track, they are great.
