That's for damn sure. I found out about his death this afternoon, and I'm still in shock. I have no idea what to write right now. I think, for the first time in a long time, I don't know what to say. I'm speechless.

Yes, I've never been in shock like this. I was never in to Pantera a whole lot, but I really like Damageplan. Dime was a phenomenal guitarist, and will be remembered forever as someone who kept metal alive through the nineties. He was one of the most influential metal guitarists of our time. May his soul rest in peace. Now, he's up in music heaven, jamming with Hendrix and Vaughn, Lennon and Bonham. Must be one hell of a jam session...

ive never really heard much of either bands music but my bro is really into them both n hes mega gutted, his band played a memorial gig last week n played pantera songs. i was reading what was put in kerrang today n it really hit me n i knew my bro wud b mega upset, its awful how could sum1 do sumin like that.
